The indexation of tariffs for freight transportation by rail in 2020 will be 3.6%, according to the forecast of socio-economic development of Russia until 2036.

According to available data, in 2021, 2023 and 2024 indexation will be 3.9%, in 2022 — 3.8%.

From 2025 to 2030, the Ministry of economic development expects indexation of railway freight tariffs from 3% to 3.9%, and from 2031 to 2036 — from 2% to 3.9% per year.

Next year, the indexation will be 3.5% with a surcharge of 8% for exports (in addition to oil and aluminum) and 6% for empty mileage.
