He noted that every government is obliged to act on the basis of the interests of its country. “This applies both to the Russian government and to the Moldovan government,” the deputy prime minister added.
Earlier, Moldovan President Igor Dodon offered Russia to lift customs duties for 5-6 commodity groups. In addition, he said that in the autumn during his official visit to Russia he intends to discuss this issue with the Russian president, and before that – to meet with Kozak. The President of Moldova expects that the removal of customs duties on vegetables, fruits, canned food, wine products will allow several times to increase Moldovan exports to Russia.
