The Board of the Eurasian economic Commission called for the abolition of restrictions on the export of milk of Belarusian production to Russia. According to the press service of the EEC, it was decided to remove the barrier to trade in the domestic market of the Eurasian economic Union.

“Russia applies restrictions on the supply of milk produced by Belarusian enterprises due to the detection of the native content of nitrates in it,” the Eurasian economic Commission noted.

In this regard, the government of Russia was invited to take measures to implement paragraph 2 of article 53 of the Treaty on the EAEU, which provides for the countries-participants of the EAEU circulation of goods that meet the technical regulations of the EAEU, without additional requirements and without carrying out conformity assessment procedures. This paragraph of the contract affects, including milk.
